Christmas Clearing Council . . . The big red barrels will again return. The toys that go in these barrels make some children very happy!!! If you aren’t able to shop for items & would like to make a donation of cash or a gift card, please give those items to either Brigette or Sue Manzke rather than putting them in the barrels. Thanking you in advance for all of your donations!!
Folks have been asking when the Hat/Mitten/Scarf tree will go up. It usually goes up mid-November, however, if you need to clear some space in your home you can bring your items now. Just let Sue Manzke know.
Angels Express has really not been busy at all, which is a good thing! However, keep in mind that we are ready to help anyone out with a meal or two if they are in need due to illness, a new baby or whatever might be stressing them out. Please contact Pat Kruse if you would like to talk about it.
When in need, we provide a Funeral lunch for any of our members. We purchase all of the food, prepare & serve the lunch & clean-up afterward so families can tend to their own needs. The only thing we charge is for the food alone. We’ll also pack up any leftovers for you to take home. Please let us know if we can help.
