We’re once again selling Easter Lilies & Tulips for $20 each at the Welcome Table, Sundays through April 6. Payment due at time of order & you take them home after our Easter Sunday service. Thank you in advance for all of your purchases. They make wonderful gifts!!!
In May, we’re doing another Spaghetti Dinner for the Rocket Group, which is the younger group of folks with special needs. We take into consideration those with food allergies also. We’ll also be offering a beautiful salad bar & fruit selection. It gives all of us great pleasure to help these folks plus the fellowship is priceless!!
See Sue Manzke if you can help prepare. Sign-up at the welcome table to help with clean up.
Our FUN event this year is going to be a trip to the Fireside in Fort Atkinson to see the last production of Church Basement Ladies called The Last Potluck Supper. We’ve reserved 40 seats for June 7 for the afternoon performance. Judy W will soon be at the Welcome Table to take your reservation & lunch choice. Payment will be due no later than April 27.
Many of the wonderful things that our Women’s Fellowship does:
1. We give all of the ladies of the church a flower on Mother’s Day! Men can usually get in on that also!
2. Fathers are not forgotten because we do an Ice Cream Social in June in their honor.
3. We try to keep the kitchen clean & the drawers & cupboards organized.
4. Sponsor the Hat/Mitten/scarf tree. All of the items go to Hope Center to help keep the homeless warm.
5. We make meals for the Emergency Overflow Shelter along with the Delafield church.
6. We sponsor Spaghetti Dinners for the Special Needs folks in our area. We are also going to do a Spaghetti Dinner for the adult group next.
7. We are available for anyone who might be in need of a meal or two due to illness, injury or whatever makes cooking a problem.
8. We hold a Kringle sale to raise funds that make it possible for us to do some of the things we do.
9. We have a program once a year for our ladies to enjoy. This year it was named Inspire & dealt with all of learning how to Meditate.
10. Our own librarian takes good care of our library, which will soon be in the Hospitality Room as soon as our custom shelves are built.
11. At each meeting we take a Least Coin collection & that money goes to the Giving Tree.
12. Our Annual Holiday Craft Fair is our biggest event. We have room for 21-22 vendors & have a huge number of raffle baskets.
