Friday, April 10, 11:30 am - 2:30 pm: Lunch & Movie Matinee: We’ll be ordering lunch from Sal’s Pizza & watching Evan Almighty. Steve Carell & Morgan Freeman star in this comedy that's a great time for everyone! When God instructs him to build an ark, Evan's life goes from overnight success to almighty mess!
Sunday, April 12, 1 - 1:30 pm: Sensory Worship: Everyone is welcome to check out our shorter services with quieter piano or guitar music, sensory fidgets, beanbag chairs & visual schedules. Perfect for those with small children too.
Tuesday, April 14 at 7 pm: Civil War Roundtable Meeting: Our speaker will be Pete Skelly, the Co-President of the Lincoln Fellowship of Wisconsin. He was appointed by then Governor Doyle to serve on the State of Wisconsin Lincoln Bicentennial Commission in 2009. He was Chairman of the Markers & Memorials Committee that researched Abraham Lincoln's path through Wisconsin during his two trips to the area. The first as a young man while serving in the Illinois Militia during the Black Hawk War of 1832. The second trip was for a speaking tour in 1859 to Milwaukee, Beloit and Janesville.
Friday, April 17, 12 - 2 pm: Annual Theme Table Event: Meet at church at Noon & we’ll carpool to St. John Neumann Church together. The public is invited to go on a scavenger hunt while we view 12 themed tables, beautifully decorated to amaze & inspire with creative details. Each table is a conversation piece, based on the theme "All You Need Is Love!". Then, if interested, we'll stop for a treat at Culvers on our way home.
Saturday, April 18: 9 - 11 am: Men’s Breakfast: A great opportunity for the men in our church family & community to meet & develop friendships, enjoy breakfast & fellowship & encourage each other in their spiritual walk. Invite a friend & sign up at the welcome table.
Friday, April 24 from 12:30 – 2:30 pm: Join us for Game Day for some fellowship & fun! Bring your favorite board or card game & a snack to share to spend the afternoon playing any number of game options! Invite a friend or neighbor! Game days are typically held on the 4th Friday of each month. No sign-up needed.
Tuesday, April 28 at 7 pm: Civil War Roundtable Meeting: (Makeup from December snow day). Our speaker will be Tom Arliskas, who has had a life-long interest in the Civil War. He’ll discuss US Grant at Fort Donelson along with a shorter version of his talk in Dover, TN on the weapons used at Fort Donelson & the comments of the men who were there & what they said about the actual combat & the arms used by them.
