Tuesday, November 11, 7 pm, upstairs: Civil War Round Table Meeting: Join the Kenosha Civil War Museum’s Educator, Emily Mentzel, as she tells the story of three women who made their mark on Civil war history as disguised soldiers, spies, nurses & civilians.
Wednesday, November 12, 6:30 pm at church: Book Club: We’ll be reading “Happiness Falls” by Angie Kim “. Full of shocking twists & fascinating questions of love, language & human connection, Happiness Falls is a mystery, a family drama & a novel of profound philosophical inquiry. Friday, November 21, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm: Movie Matinee & lunch: Come enjoy lunch from New China Express & to watch “Remember the Titans” "In 1971, Virginia high-school football was everything to the people of Alexandria, but when the school board was forced to integrate an all-Black school with an all-white one, the foundation of football's tradition was put to the test". Saturday, November 22, 9 am to 8 pm at church: Crafters Corner: Bring your favorite crafts & join in an afternoon of fellowship & fun! Our theme for lunch will be Thanksgiving. Please sign up at the welcome table to bring an item to share such as: turkey & gravy, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, stuffing, green bean casserole, macaroni & cheese, cranberries, pies, desserts, fruit, snacks etc. Invite a friend or two & come for lunch or stay the whole day!

Saturday, December 6, 11:30 am – 3:30 pm: Community Christmas: Join in a potluck lunch & help in sharing the spirit of Christmas with each other by contributing to those in our community. We’ll be making Christmas cards & ornaments, baking cookies & making blankets & hygiene kits for our local non-profit organizations. This event has been great & rewarding fun in the past & has something to do for everyone in your family! We’ll provide hot ham, cheese & buns for sandwiches. Sunday, December 7, 9 – 11 am: PJ’s & Pancakes: Invite a friend & come to worship in your snuggly pj’s or comfy clothes & enjoy some delicious coffee, hot cocoa or cappuccino during worship & then some yummy pancakes after worship made by our awesome confirmands & Teens! We’ll still have our usual sweet treats & fruit!
