Youth Meetings: Every other Sunday night (basically) from 6 to 7:30. On January 20th, 2008 the wide screen TV will be on to watch the Packer game while we conduct other business. That should present an interesting challenge.

Mission Trip to the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation.  August 9th to 15th. We need down payments of $50 as soon as possible to reserve our places. This down paymentt is refundable up to 30 days before we leave.

30 hour famine Feb 22-23 .  We are cooperating with First United Methodist Church on this.  We should have maybe as many as 10 and they 15.  The question is: is the Feb. 22nd - 23rd date OK?  It's a 4 day weekend (I think).  Are folks going to be around?  Scott Andrews at 1st UMC is asking the same question there.

Souper Bowl of Caring. On Sunday Feb 3rd we will get pots, pans, kettles and big spoons and make joyful noises for an offering that will go to the Waukesha Food Pantry.

Spaghetti Dinner March 2nd.  It would be great if we helped with this even though the proceeds go to the building fund.  NEXT YEAR the proceeds from this dinner returns to the Youth Group for our Mission Trip.

The Mission Trip 2007 to Alamosa, Colorado

The mission Trip for the last week of July 2007 was to La Puente Home which provides emergency food and shelter for the hungry and homeless in the San Luis Valley, Colorado. We had 11 youth and 2 adults that went. Watch the slide show above or click on it to go to the full sized show.

We had a great trip in 2005 to the DuVall Home for the developmentally disabled in Florida. We helped with various projects, spent time with the residents there and generallly enjoyed each other while working hard. In the middle of the week, we made a side trip to Daytona Beach and then at the end of the week, we spent some time in Disneyworld and Universal Studios.

Camp - Half off!!!
Our youth camping program in the State of Wisconsin is at Pilgrim Center at Green Lake, Wisconsin.

Active and contributing members of Evangelical and Reformed Church will get half off of their camp tuiton for any of these camps. We had 5 campers enjoy a few days or a week at camp because of the Youth Fund and its funding of this program.

This is an incredible deal. We do this because we believe that this is an investment in leadership development. We don't care whether you need this money or not. Just go to camp and it's half off!

Just contact the office (262) 547-2424 for appropriate forms.

This half-off deal also applies to any other weeks of camp at Pilgrim Center or the family camps at Moon Beach in the north country in St. Germain. We just believe that this develops leadership for the families of our church.
